Adorable Christmas Ornaments Day Two

Here's the next adorable sheep variation!  I forgot to mention that there will be a string to hang each one on the tree but they do stand alone too!  Look at that tiny bell-cute right?

On another note, I finished my dog sweater the other day and I just have to take some pictures of Geddy Lee in it.  I am hoping he will co-operate with my photo shoot!  Overall I like the pattern but I would make a few changes for sizing.  Since the pattern owner had a 4 lb. chi and I had a 6 lb., I decided to make the small medium but I was wrong.  I should have made the small.
I'll go into more detail once I take some pictures.

Usually, I like to have only one project going at once but lately I've got at least 3.  Lol.  Last night I worked on my second sock.  I am sure that I will finish it tonight as I  only have 1.5" in length to knit before I start the toe.

This afternoon I will be working on a new Christmas Stocking pattern.  It's adorable and classic.  I did have them last year but I really need to formally take pictures.  So, that's what's on my knitting agenda for today.

What's been on your needles lately?

Looking for Knit Christmas Stockings??

Well you've come to the right place.  I will be releasing all of my new Christmas items over the next couple of weeks.  I am so excited to share them with all of you!  Many of the items are made with recycled sweaters and are available in limited quantities.  Don't wait because your favorites might be gone.

A little information about my recycling process.  I shop for sweaters year round from some of my favorite thrift stores.  Each sweater is carefully chosen avoiding stains, holes and hard use.  Each sweater is then taken apart one stitch at a time, wound into skeins, washed with eco-friendly detergent and allowed to dry in the sun.  Each skein is them rewound into a ball which I can then use to knit all my goodies.

All of my stockings will last and be enjoyed for years to come.  I use a button loop so the height of each stocking is adjustable.

I Couldn't Resist.....

Yes, yes, I know that it's still August but I just couldn't resist posting my new Christmas Stockings.  There are still more designs to come so this is just a little preview until then.

Most of my stockings are knit with recycled yarn.  Brushed off an discarded sweaters now have a new purpose.  All of the yarn has been washed dried and re-knit into anything I can think of.   So, please know, that the supplies are limited as I rarely find the same sweater twice.  Once they are gone that's it.  Get 'em now there is no time to wait and think.

Each stocking is large in size because I love large stockings.  The blue stocking is knit with Merino/Cotton blend.  The striped is all cotton, the white is Merino/Alpaca, and the solid red is alpaca as well.  So gorgeous and ready to go.
